Vegetable Cheese Soup Recipe
Recipe Ingredients
1 pkg. California blend vegetables (cauliflower, broccoli, carrots
1/2 c. finely chopped onions
1 can cream of celery soup
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. flour
1 can Swanson's chicken broth or 1 1/2 c. of your own
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. half and half or milk
2 c. shredded American cheese (8 oz.)
Cooking Directions
Undercook the vegetables and drain. Cook onion in butter until tender. Add flour. Stir to mix. Add broth and soup. Stir until smooth. Add cheese and half and half and heat until cheese melts. DO NOT BOIL! Add vegetables and heat and serve.
