Strawberry Pie Recipe

Recipe Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2/3 c. & 2 tbsp. shortening
5-6 tbsp. cold (ice) water add a tbsp. at a time

Cooking Directions

Mix after each addition. Bake at 450 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
STRAWBERRY PIE:
1 1/2 c. water
1 c. sugar
Pinch salt
4 tbsp. cornstarch
4 tbsp. strawberry Jello
1 pt. (3 c.) strawberries
1 baked pie shell
Boil sugar, water, salt and cornstarch until clear and thick. Remove from heat. Add Jello. Stir and cool. Add berries. Pour into baked shell. Chill 3-4 hours.
