Lemon Custard Cake Dessert Recipe


Recipe Ingredients

2 tbsp. fat
2/3 c. sugar
2 egg yolks



Cooking Directions

Cream fat and sugar, then add yolks; mix well.
1/4 c. lemon juice
2 tbsp. grated lemon
2 tbsp. flour
1/8 tsp. salt
Add to creamed mixture. Then add 1 cup milk. Fold in egg whites (from 2 eggs) beaten stiff. Pour in custard cups. Bake in pan of hot water in moderate oven for 30 to 40 minutes.
