Oatmeal Pan Cookies Recipe

Recipe Ingredients

1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. (2 sticks) butter, softened
3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
3 c. quick or old fashion oats, uncooked
1 (12 oz.) pkg. (2 c.) Nestle's Toll House Morsels
3/4 c. brown sugar, firmly packed

Cooking Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In small bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon; set aside. In large mixer bowl, beat butter, sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until creamy. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in oats and Nestle's Toll House morsels. Spread dough into greased 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1 inch baking pan. Bake for 18 to 22 minutes or until very lightly browned. Cool completely. Cut into 35 (2 inch) squares.
