Pink Grapefruit Jelly Recipe
Recipe Ingredients
3 c. canned or bottled grapefruit juice
1 pkg. (1 3/4 oz.) powdered fruit pectin
4 c. sugar
6 drops BLAIR red food color
Cooking Directions
Pour juice into a 6 quart saucepan, add pectin and stir until dissolved. Place over high heat and bring to a full boil. Add sugar, all at once, and stir until dissolved. Bring to a full rolling boil and boil for 1 1/2 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, stir in food color. Skim with metal spoon. Pour into sterilized jelly glasses, seal. Yields: 5 (1/2 pint) jelly glasses. For variety, tint some green.
