Cafe Creme Chocolate Nut Bread Recipe


Recipe Ingredients

1 egg
1/2 c. softened butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. sugar
3 tsp. instant coffee
2/3 c. sour cream or plain yogurt
1 tbsp. cocoa (optional)
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/2 c. chocolate chips
1/2 c. chopped walnuts



Cooking Directions

Beat egg, butter, sugars, coffee, sour cream and vanilla until blended. Combine flour, baking powder, chocolate chips and walnuts. Add to blended mixture; stir until all ingredients are just moistened - don't over mix! Grease 1 loaf pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 45-50 minutes or until cake tester comes clean.
Note: You may garnish top of bread with chips and nuts before baking.
