Potatoes With Cheese Recipe
Recipe Ingredients
5 med. potatoes
1 lg. egg
1/3 c. milk
1/2 stick butter
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 c. chopped fresh parsley or 2 tbsp. dried
1/2 lb. shredded or thin sliced Mozzarella cheese
Grated Parmesan cheese
Bread crumbs
Cooking Directions
Peel and boil potatoes until tender. Drain; add milk, butter, salt, and pepper to make fluffy mashed potatoes. Beat in egg and parsley. Butter a 2 quart casserole. Place a layer of potatoes in dish; sprinkle Parmesan and Mozzarella. Continue to layer, ending with potatoes. Sprinkle bread crumbs on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Top should be golden and cheese melted.
