Peachy Delight Recipe
Cooking Directions
Combine 1 cup flour, 1 tablespoon sugar, 1 stick butter, 1/4 cup pecans (optional). Spread in 9 x 13 baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until light golden brown.SECOND LAYER:
Cream 1 cup sugar and 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese (softened) together. Fold 1 carton whipped cream topping, 8 oz. or 9 oz. Spread on crust.
Top cream cheese mixture with peaches slices. (Or fruits of your choice). Glaze: Combine 1 cup sugar and 4 tablespoons cornstarch. Stir in 1 1/2 cups water. (I reserve juice from fruit and use it instead of or added with water.) Cook until thick. Stir in 13 oz. package peach Jello (or flavor to compliment fruit used.)
Cool and spoon over fruit (refrigerate until set.)
