Maryland Crab Meat Ball Recipe
Recipe Ingredients
1 lb. crabmeat, preferably backfin
2 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 tsp. dehydrated minced onion
1 tsp. Old Bay Seafood Seasoning
1/4 tsp. Season-All salt
1 bottle seafood sauce (or 1 sm. bottle ketchup with 2 tbsp. horseradish
and 1/4 tsp. lemon juice)
Cooking Directions
Mix all spices with room temperature cream cheese. Remove shells from crabmeat, trying to avoid breaking up lumps. Combine cream cheese and crab and form into a ball. Chill in refrigerator, covered. Just before serving, pour cocktail sauce over ball. Serve with favorite crackers.
