Hamburger Spanish Ranch Style Beans Recipe

Recipe Ingredients

2 onions
1 stalk celery
4 tbsp. oil
3 lbs. ground beef
1 can pimento, chopped
2 tbsp. brown sugar
2 lg. cans undrained chopped mushrooms
4 cans red kidney beans
1 bottle Heinz hot ketchup
1/3 c. reg. ketchup
Dash of Tabasco sauce
Salt & pepper

Cooking Directions

Saute onions and celery in oil. Brown ground beef, drain. Add pimento, brown sugar, mushrooms, kidney beans, Heinz hot ketchup, regular ketchup, Tabasco sauce, salt and pepper. Bake in casserole dish at 375 degrees for 45 minutes. Good for freezing.
May be cooked in large pan on stove, simmer one hour. Makes a lot, about 4 1/2 quarts. Half recipe cooks good in a crock pot.
