Cranberry Apple Crunch Recipe
Recipe Ingredients
2 Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored and cut into 1/2 inch chunks
1 c. fresh or frozen cranberries
1/4 c. granulated sugar
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground allspice
1/2 c. uncooked oatmeal
1/2 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
2 tbsp. all purpose flour
3 tbsp. unsalted butter, softened
Cooking Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine apples, cranberries, sugar, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon and allspice in bowl. Transfer to 1 quart baking dish. combine oatmeal, brown sugar, flour and remaining 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon in small bowl. Rub or cut in butter until blended. Sprinkle over fruit. Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes or until topping is browned and fruit is bubbly. Let stand for 15 minutes. Serve warm. Serves 4. Contains 286 calories per servings.
