Chocolate Chip Party Muffins Recipe

Recipe Ingredients

1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. vegetable oil
1/2 c. chocolate chips
3/4 c. mashed ripe bananas (about 1 1/2 bananas)
1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
1/4 c. maraschino cherries, well drained

Cooking Directions

Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Add egg, milk and oil; stir until blended. Mix in chocolate chips, mashed bananas, nuts and cherries. Fill greased or paper-lined muffin pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Makes about 12 muffins.
