Chinese Steamed Egg Recipe
Recipe Ingredients
1 lb. ground pork1 c. chopped scallions
1 egg per person
Optional - peas, bean sprouts
Cooking Directions
1. This dish is ridiculously simple.2. Take two sticks of dynamite to defrost pork from commissary.
3. Mix in eggs and scallions and optional bean sprouts and-or peas to desired amount.
4. Salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste.
5. Place dish in the middle of a wok full of boiling water.
6. Steam until pork is cooked. No pink spots are wanted. The egg will turn yellow.
7. This is a favorite breakfast food for us! Or a quick supper over rice.
