Cheesy Bean Dip Recipe


Recipe Ingredients

1 (16 oz.) can refried beans
4 oz.(1 c.) shredded Cheddar cheese
4 oz. (1 c.) shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1/2 red bell pepper, cut into strips
1 to 2 green Jalapeno peppers, sliced
Tortilla chips



Cooking Directions

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Spread beans in 9 or 10 inch quiche or pie pan. Sprinkle with cheeses. Top with peppers. Bake for 15 minutes or until cheese melts. Serve with chips.
MICROWAVE DIRECTIONS: Spread beans in dish. Cover with waxed paper. Microwave on HIGH for 2 to 2 1/2 minutes or until beans are warm. Uncover. Sprinkle cheeses over beans. Top with peppers. Cover with waxed paper. Microwave for 3 to 4 minutes or until cheese is almost melted. Let stand for 2 minutes before serving.
