Black Forest Cake Recipe


Recipe Ingredients

1 pkg. Pillsbury Plus devil food cake mix
21 oz. can cherry fruit filling
1 tsp. almond extract
2 eggs



Cooking Directions

Put all ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Mix by hand until well mixed. Bake in greased 9 x 13 inch pan at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
FROSTING:
5 tbsp. butter
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1 c. sugar
1/3 c. milk
Combine sugar, butter, milk and bring to a boil, stirring constantly 1 minute. Remove from heat, stir in chocolate chips until smooth, pour over warm cake.
